History on lasagna

There is debate as to whether Lasagna originated in Greece (because of the WordS origin), or whether it was Britain, due to written proof from the 14th century. However this claims are denied by most Italians, who say this dish is completely different from the ones above.

Also the Word lasagne originally meant dish.
