A White House policeman gave a brown paper bag with a "bloody pink pillbox hat" to one the the Kennedy children's agent, who in turn gave it to Clint Hill, who was Jackie's bodyguard; so one can conclude it was in Washington, but whatever happened to it is anybodys guess.
