Was Apollo mortal or immortal

Immortal, Appolo was a son of Zeus obtaining immortality. Appolo is now the God of the Sun. He also became the God of Music when Hermes gave him his lyre as a baby. Apollo also has a twin sister Artemis which is known to be the opposite of him.
