How do you Open a freight fowarding company?

You need agents, license and money. If you don't have NVOCC(non vessel operating common carrier) license/permit, you can not resell rates to your customers and can not issue your own house bill of ladings. However, you can still open a freight forwarding company by being a handling agent only. That means you can only collect handling fee from the customers and can not sell freight rate for profit.
