Where did peter and his family lived?

Peter and his family lived in a hidden annex in Amsterdam during World War II. This secret space, known as the Secret Annex, was concealed behind a bookshelf in his father's office. They lived there to escape the Nazis and were accompanied by another family, the Van Pels, and later, a dentist named Fritz Pfeffer. Their experiences in the annex were documented by Peter's sister, Anne Frank, in her famous diary.
