What were three ways roman culture influenced later societies?

Well when I look at America I can name few. Our government and many others were inspired by the Romans and their creation of democracy. Our architecture is inspired by the Roman building. And that horrible Cesar hair cut that movie stars tried to work in the 90's. The Roman Empire really has a fascinating culture and history, it's no wonder people are influenced by it.
