What is the internal conflict in 'The Cask of Amontillado'?

The Cask of Amontillado' is a story by Edgar Allan Poe, which describes a man's attempt to lure his braggart friend into his basement and wall him up alive down there. The internal conflict in the story is how Montresor will perform this evil act and get away with it. He has no qualms about killing Fortunado, only that he is never caught or suspected of it.
