When was Mordred born?

May 1st. There's a story that Arthur, ashamed that he'd begotten a child by his half sister Morgause and in fear of a prophecy by Merlin that said a baby born May 1st would be his downfall had all babies born on that day put on a rickety boat and sent to sea to die. Mordred somehow survived.
