Impact of World War 2

WWII ended the USA's isolationism and caused us to be more involved in the rest of the world, doing our best to stop the spread of communism. WWII also aided the USA's and the world's advancement in weapons and general technology (Ex- the atomic bomb). African American soldiers that fought in the war came home and expected America to give them a warm welcome, although some won awards, America remained heavily segregated, thus sparking the true beginning of the Civil Rights Movement. The war also aided the USA economically.
