WHAT ARE NORMAL LDL CALULATED?

Normal LDL (low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels are typically considered to be less than 100 mg/dL. Levels between 100-129 mg/dL are near optimal/above optimal, while 130-159 mg/dL is borderline high. A level of 160-189 mg/dL is considered high, and 190 mg/dL or more is very high. Maintaining lower LDL levels is important for reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases.
