Why is love bad?

If you abuse love yes, love is only meant for husbands and wives, no one else, no matter what. Love is special and not meant to be wasted.

Love that is freely given to others is not a bad thing. Loving a spouse, parent, child, family members, and friends is a very good thing. Love binds us together. Love can be a very bad thing indeed when it is abused, you should never use it to get your own way or as a tool for getting others to do your bidding. It can also be a bad thing when you are in an abusive relationship. Just because you love someone does not mean you are a doomat to be stepped on and taken advantage of. The previous poster is incorrect in stating that love is meant only for husbands and wives, they are mistaking love with sex. Loving someone or giving your love to someone does not mean you are wasting it. Love is meant to be freely given.
