Depending on experience and location, a typical A/O (Auxillary Operator) can make anywhere from $29.00-38.00 dollars an hour. However, this doesn't include the 250-400 of hours worked on Over Time or a bonus. Once all these numbers get factored in, it places a power plant (Combined Cycle) operators yearly salary anywhere from 90K-125K. Obviously there are cases where you can make more or less, depending on whether you're in a union or the company's pay rate policy. However, from my experience, the aforementioned statement is fairly true nationwide.
