Herschel C. Loveless (born May 5, 1911 in Hedrick, Iowa; died May 4, 1989 in Winchester, Iowa) succeeded Leo Hoegh as the thirty-fourth Governor of Iowa, serving between January 17, 1957 and January 12, 1961, including the whole of 1959.
