What is the paint name and the code for a 1996 cadillac eldorato red?

The 96 Eldorado had 3 choices for red paint.If you look on the underside of your trunk lid,or the underside of your spare tire cover there is a label that gives you all the info that the factory used to build the car.

Look for one of these 3 codes for the paint 72U or 86U or 77U.

72U Medium Garnet Red WA8979

86U Red Tint Metallic WA127B

77U Dark Cherry Metallic WA9800

The WA number will be on bottom line the label. If you can't find the label or if it is missing you can contact a gm dealership,give them the Vin # and they can tell you the paint code. Or email me at parts1962@Yahoo.com with the Vin # and I can give you the correct paint code.
