The opposite of cross-eyed, or strabismus, is known as "divergent" vision or being "wall-eyed." In this condition, the eyes are misaligned but point outward rather than inward. While cross-eyed individuals may struggle to focus on objects close to them, those with divergent vision may find it challenging to focus on objects that are nearer. Both conditions affect binocular vision and depth perception.
