Abraham Lincoln was elected to the office of President for 2 terms. He was elected to his first term as President on November 6, 1860, and sworn into office on March 4, 1861.

He was re-elected as President, for a second term, on November 8, 1864, and sworn into office on March 4, 1865. He served about 42 days of his second term, as he was assassinated on April 14, 1865, and died on April 15, 1865.
