How would a 41- year-old man feel about dating a 34-year-old woman?

I'd feel great!! What's the problem here if there is one? It's in the mind.. ignore it or don't date her.. depends on if you feel from your heart or if you listen to the rantings of your mind.

Answer age has nothing to do with sex At the age of thirty, a woman is at her peak, it is a perfect age for any woman to be the most beautiful that she can be. She will have had sufficient experience in life to make the perfect dating partner. And what if there is a six year gap in ages, if the man is sufficiently mature then it would be a wonderful experience for both of them. If it leads to more serious matters, like marriage, then so much the better for both of them. Answer: It sounds great in theory. A fun romp at best, maybe even with genuine emotions and mutual appreciation; but in reality I don't think it's realistic in creating a foundation for a lasting relationship. A 24-yr-old male is hardly a "man," and probably has at least 10 years of running around in his system, and a woman of 30's biological clock is starting to tick. Tricky timing, in my opinion. Even if the man is unusually mature for his age, there are too many age-rooted differences that would create many challenges for the couple. I'm in my sixties. Dump her and give her my phone number. Seriously though, it sounds as if this is just a fling. If so, let's hope both parties see it that way. Don't be surprised if it ends suddenly some day, for no apparent reason. P.S. I've just noticed there has been somewhat of a general assumption that the man is the one who asked the question. But isn't the phrasing ["How would a ... man feel...?] a little peculiar, though, to be coming from a man - at least a man who was serious about such a relationship? Perhaps it was the woman who wrote. Maybe she has some cougar instincts. How about it, Niq76, are you the male or the female? [Ah hah! I discovered the answer from another question.] Answer.... Why is it a big deal for a woman to date/marry a younger man yet there are tons of men dating women more 6 years younger than themselves? Doesn't seem right or fair. Why are women who date younger men called 'cougars'? How would men like it if we called them 'perverts' for dating younger women?
