What is acute hunger?

Acute hunger is the type of

malnutrition or under nutrition which kills children.

Human body needs energy and

nutrients for proper body functions, if food intake is inadequate

the body start burning the fats and muscle, the metabolism slows

down, the immune system is weakened and kidney function is

impaired. Decreased food consumption, increased energy expenditure

and illness known as malnutrition. Malnutrition is associated with

increased illness and death.
