Let me first just say, starvation is dangerous. But to answer your question...Based on my personal experience with anorexia and the friends I have met in inpatient eating disorder units, we consume on average between 0-500 calories per day. Most people I've met stay between 100-300 calories per day. Although, many of us go on fasts ranging from one day to a week usually. I personally do not fast. We sometimes increase our calorie intake up to around 500-700 to help speed our metabolism back up again and give us energy. But we always return back to our original range of intake. And everyone is different. So this is just based on my disorder and the people I have met and their disorders.
