Why Should a sacred text be treated with respect?

The persons who normally write sacred text or advocate it, is usually inspired by a far more superior being to do so, so as to deliver the message to others. This superior being will normally be GOD. And if you are a believer in the message of this sacred text, you'll treat it with almost the same respect you'd have toward GOD himself, for fear of being cursed by GOD. No-one can help you against GOD's curse.
