Human activities in politics consist of much of the following:
* making changes to laws and public policies by running for an elected position in the legislative branch of government;
* directing the enforcement of laws and influencing public policies by running for an elected office in the executive branch of a government;
* meeting with other citizens to form a new political party;
* voting in elections and urging other citizens to vote as well;
* participating in public interest groups in order to change and improve public policies and/or create new ones; an
* studying political science and public administration.
