Is disappointed by mothers replied to my request for an advance on my allowance?

I feel disappointed by my mother's response to my request for an advance on my allowance. I had hoped for a more understanding reply, considering my reasons for needing it. It’s tough when expectations don’t align with reality, and I wish we could have had a more open conversation about it.
