What kinds of jobs are in Denver?

Perhaps one of the premier Colorado jobs is the position of caretaker at Barr Camp on the hiking trail to the summit of Pikes Peak. The position is rarely vacant and it requires a special kind of couple or family to take on this challenge. Teresa and Neal Taylor have held the position since the Spring of 2005. Overnight guests can tent camp with their own gear, rent a comfortable lean to, stay in the bunk house of for the "highe rollers", the upper cabin as a special luxury. They serve a decent spaghetti dinner five nights a week for $8.00 and a pancake Breakfast is included. It is all quite rustic, but also very special.

Summer jobs with the US Park Service is a very hard but rewarding expeience for teens and college students. A desireable seasonal job is with the ski patrol and the high end resorts have hired on their people well before the first snow reaches the slopes.
