It takes 2 years of undergraduate education in some institutions. Other institutions make you have a bachelor's degree before you can apply. After that, it is 3 years of professional schooling plus an additional year of clinical pharmacy rotations. If you really enjoyed the punishment of pharmacy school, you can apply for a clinical or community pharmacy residency which is a year or two long, depending if you want to specialize. Either way, you will be a doctor of pharmacy.
