How can a 8 year old boy get a girlfriend?

This is absurd. At 8-years-old they are a young child and have no idea about girlfriends, flirting and kissing . Yes they can have friends, but not in such a way as this. Children need to grow up and do the things children should do like playing together.

Having a girlfriend at this age is not like having one when you are 16. Usually just hanging out and playing together, holding hands and innocent pecks on the cheek (and not always that even). They know very well about dating, kissing, flirting and such. Especially if they have older siblings or have seen their parents kiss etc. Shows on the Disney Channel is another. Usually you find one in school or friend of a friend. You just can't be afraid to ask her.
