In Yu-Gi-Oh what does short print mean?

Short Print is a sub-category of the Common rarity. They are rare cards that were discontinued after the release of the "Ancient Sanctuary" booster pack and were reintroduced in the "Phantom Darkness" booster pack. They are a TCG-exclusive rarity.
