Why doesn't powerade freeze?

Powerade does not contain any carbon, thus it cannot go flat. For example, when you shake a coca cola and open it, the carbon is released into the air. Drinking that coca cola will now have a taste without that burning feeling in your mouth. However, because Powerade doesn't contain any carbon, its taste will stay good for long periods of time. Whenever you start to feel that the Powerade isn't good anymore, it is most-likely because your tolerance to its taste has increased, so you should wait before drinking anymore for its maximum taste.
