Yep. He is one of my Grand-Uncles. Apparently he had a lovely leather bomber jacket and for a short time shared a room with my Dad and his brother. I think.

He was christened Patrick but known as Eric, born in Henry St, Limerick around 1913/14 to Patrick and Helen, with four brothers and three sisters.
He married and had fours sons and two daughters.
He held a record for the fastest time to change the engine on a Lockheed Constellation, and worked initially in Foynes until it closed and then transferred to Shannon or Rineanna as it was known then. He passed in early 1964
