Did the use of marijuana increase in the states that it was made legal in?

The use of marijuana actually decreased according to many studies. Certain ideas that answer the reason why is because marijuana isn't seen as the "hardcore drug" anymore. Because it's legal it doesnt give people the "breaking the law rush" anymore.

As with all ideas remember this may not be the exact reason why, every human has his/her own reasons.
