did you notice that he was eating raisin bran in one of the scenes? Vampires can't eat.

Actually if you read the book it tells you that vampires CAN eat but it just has no purpose for them "like eating dirt" they said, like they breathe in and out just to keep up a pretense but it also has no purpose!
