Where to connect telephone line with DirecTV?

Simply run a phone cable from the back of your DirecTV box to your nearest telephone jack. You can buy inexpensive splitters that can split the signal from your local telephone company from wall jack to your telephone and directv box. If there is no jack near your DirecTv box, there are also small, powerline adapters so that you plug in an adapter to a power source, plug the DirecTv box peice into it via the telephone cable and then connect the other powerline adapter to another power source and then plug it in to a phone jack and they will transmitt data wirelessly across a room or through a house. These powerline adapters usually cost around twenty five dollars or so. you can buy them at almost any electronics retailer such as bestbuy, cuircut city, or frys electronics.
