What determines true death?

We live by breathing. And in breathing, the expanding and contracting lungs massage the heart, which is the pump for the body's miraculously designed "self-contained, pressurized circulatory system."

Death is caused when either of these two things cease to function; either we stop breathing, or there is a significant loss of blood pressure.
