Is it safe to go outside during a hurricane why or why not?

It isn't safe to go outside during a hurricane because it's winds are super high, and it could knock down a tree and it could kill you. Another reason you should not go outside during a hurricane is because it's very very very very dangerous to go outside. Besides, you can't even see outside because of it's winds. And the winds sends HUGE waves up up up and it can cause some floods. The force of wind (or water) increases exponentially. So, if the wind speed doubles, the force is four times as strong. Triple the speed and there is nine times the force. To understand this, imagine the wind as tiny ping pong balls. When the wind speed doubles, they not only hit you twice as fast, but you get hit by twice as many.
