technology has helped in modernizing people and the use of technology has saved time for example the use of computers, it is believed that computers are so first in running programs. on the other hand, technology has harmed world history in away that children are so exposed to the media so most of them get spoiled at an early age because of easy exposure to pornography

Seed drills and other farming implements enabled people to efficiently grow more food. Chemicals, though, have been a mixed blessing since they have saved crops but have polluted our watershed and rivers.

Personally, though, the washing machine has, in my opinion, made a difference. People used to wash clothes twice a year; had few outfits. With the washing machine, more clothes could be done at the same time--most of us have closets full of clothing, of which we wear about 6%.

With the growth of the internet, we have become more connected with people from other countries, across oceans. We share their lives, politics, wars and weddings. Kate and William's wedding was viewed by people in real time all over the world. As with most things, though, the internet can be used for evil (Osama bin Laden) and for good (Monster, Craigslist, etc.)
