How does urbanization affect sport?

Urbanization leads to creation of buildings in settlement areas, which eventually take up the land meant for sporting activities. In addition, due to urbanization, many people leave their communities and move to towns to look for employment in industries, leaving their communities where they could participate in sporting activities.
