What clothes do people wear in Chicago in December?

It's pretty cold in Chicago during the Winter so I would suggest to bring hats, mittens, jeans, etc. If you wanna look cute, like if your going shopping or walking in the park a lot of people get dressed up with tights, longer jackets and cute shoes...hope this helped!
