Do you mean Mary I of England or Mary I of Scotland?

Mary I of England(also known as Mary Tudor or "Bloody Mary") did not burn religious houses as well as people, to my knowledge. She burned an estimated 300 people during her reign-including women and children. It is strange that she is known as "Bloody Mary" when she killed only 300 people compared to her father King Henry VIII who killed an estimated 50,000 people including two of his wives and a lot of his closest friends(see: Anne Boleyn, Katherine Howard, Thomas Moore, Thomas Cromwell, ect.). She married King Phillip II of Spain-her cousin-and like her mother died broken hearted and alone. But unlike her mother she died a very unpopular queen for not only her spanish marriage and loss of Calais but for funding her husbands wars leaving the kingdom near bankruptcy and forcing her subjects to the Roman Catholic faith-which she whole heartedly believed in.

Mary Queen of Scotland and France(and to Roman Catholics Queen of England over Queen Elizabeth I also known as Marie Stuart) as far as i know did not kill any protestants during her reign as queen. She spent most of her childhood in France while her mother(Mary of Guise) ruled Scotland as regent for her. Mary eventually married the heir to the French throne and became Queen of France apon her father-in-law's death due to a jousting acciedent. Mary and her husband Francis II of France ruled together for less than a year before he died of what some believe to be an ear infection(i know it sounds silly but they didn't have medication like we do). Mary's mother-in-law did not like her so Mary left France to her home country of Scotland(by this time her mother had died). Though France was very Roman Catholic Scotland was of the reformed faith. Mary had no choice but to be tolerant or risk an uprising. She was used to the sofisication of the French Court not the brutes of Scotland. She married for love and that eventually turned sour. her husband stabbed her best friend the secritary in front of then pregnant Mary. she gave birth to a boy the future James I of England. her husband was murdered some alege by her. she was kept captive by her half brother for over a year. when she escaped she fled to England hoping to have the support of the English queen her cousin-Elizabeth I(Mary I of England's sister). Mary queen of Scotland was kept captive by Elizabeth for almost 20 year before she was executed by her for the treasonous act of plotting to take Elizabeth's life(after being held captive for almost half my life(Mary died at 44 she'd been held as a captive for almost 21 years) i would try to kill my captor too!) As you can see she was kind of busy and was almost never truly in control of her own life to burn people at the stake or religious houses for that matter. if she had there would have been an uprising(as there eventually was by her half brother).
