What did Brian mulroney say he would do if he was elected as prime Minister?

He promised many things including getting Quebec to sign on to the Canadian Constitution but he isn't known as Lying Brian for nothing. Few Prime Ministers have deceived Canadians so brazenly and yet so successfully. He also said he would bring us "jobs, jobs, jobs" but instead unleashed a massive recession with his interest rate policy and gutted Canadian jobs with Globalization agreements that continue to cost Canadian jobs, wages and industries.
