Jewish tradition, in an unbroken chain of thousands of teachers and disciples to this day, from 3300 years ago, states that Moses led the Israelite nation out of Egypt into the Sinai wilderness as recorded in the Torah (Exodus ch.12), the Talmud, and hundreds of commentaries throughout the centuries. We have names (Exodus ch.6 and other passages), precise places (Numbers ch.33), and many corroborating details. Though not referring to the Exodus, Dr. William Albright, who was probably the foremost authority in Middle East Archaeology in his time, said: "There can be no doubt that archaeology has confirmed the substantial historicity of the Old Testament."
