Why aren't some ghosts or spirits resting?

The problem here is we really just don't know, as we don't know just what outside of books or Hollywood what a Ghost really is. To me I find it very hard to except that no person in death is so far removed from God that he would ignore them, or better yet abandom them. I have always felt a Ghost is a energy fingerprint, and I feel it has no awareness of being, as it is not alive as we are, but this is my opinion. Shows like Taps or those like are trying I hope to find these things out for us. Happy hunting!
