If your new home is being built in Texas and will be sided with brick and stone is Tyvek necessary?

Texas is notoriously humid 24/7 and you want the Tyvek to prevent any moisture from getting into the house--brick and stone may not be enough over time, since if the cement fails, then you have moisture in your house and drywall, not to mention possibilities of being hospitable for termites. Just get the Tyvek, or something similar, and you won't be sorry.
