How do you get the security lock to show on your status bar?

If you’re on Android, that lock shows up when your phone is locked with a secure method — like PIN or pattern.

No lock = your phone might be using swipe or no security at all.

Go to Settings > Security > Screen lock and set a secure option. Then lock your phone and you should see the little lock icon on the status bar.
