Are bisexuals and eunuchs are similar?

The original intended definition of a eunich was a man who has had his testicles removed (i.e. castrated). The term usually refered to those castrated (without their consent) in order to perform a specific social function, as was common historically in many societies. If this occurs before puberty, secondary sex characteristics fail to develop, and symptoms such as a feminine voice and absence of facial hair can result from the reduced level of male hormones in the blood. Over the millennia since, they have performed a wide variety of functions in many different cultures such as: courtiers or equivalent domestics, treble singers, religious specialists, government officials, military commanders, and guardians of women or harem servants.

A bisexual is a person is attracted either romantically or sexually or both to persons of both genders. The majority of modern day male bisexuals are not eunichs by the original definition of the term; except in some third-world cultures, or countries with extreme laws regarding castration of males. It is possible to be bisexual and a eunich. It is also possible to be heterosexual and a eunich.
