He was no different than most whites who dislike blacks, Jews, Asians, and latinos. However he knew how to hide his racism well while sticking with his own. He did not mistreat blacks or dare speak out against him. No intelligent artist would ever do that as it would hurt record sales. He did have a soft spot for Sammy Davis Jr. and Duke Ellington and all reknown black artists. Aside from that, yes, he demonstrated that he preferred to stick with his own kind
