Why is a clean shark bite important?

I assumer you mean why do you have to clean it. The shark could have bacteria in it's mouth. You must clean out the wound so you don't get any deadly shark carreid diseases.

Also if you don't mean cleaning it, if you meant clean shark bite as for reattachment; then it is important because it allows for easier reattachment surgery because it can be easily connected with the lost limb.
