What is a surgeon's salary?

I found a number that seems to be reputable. But i would say anywhere in the vacinity of 200-300k. This seems ridiculous but remember. They play god and can lose their job if just one mistake is made. Plus all the school they endure. Offtopic but a pharmacist told me that out of college they make in the 100-250 k range.
