What is the difference between a smug person and a narcissist?

It's pretty similar in meaning. When someone is being smug, it means they are letting others know that they are better than them. Narcissistic feelings are when a person is in "love" with themselves.

Smug has more to do with letting others know you are better than them.

narcissist is more of the feeling of greatness one has of themselves.
