What is the best brand of CB radio?

There really isn't one. They're all limited to the same power output. If you wanted a recommendation, I'd say go with a Cobra 25 or 29 (internally, they're exactly the same, just the 29 has a larger casing). Get the basic "Classic" models, and avoid things such as the light up faceplates, and other unnecessary features.
