How do you get the hood lever to pop open hood?

To pop open the hood of a car, first locate the hood release lever inside the vehicle, usually found on the driver's side near the left footwell or under the dashboard. Pull the lever to release the hood latch. Then, move to the front of the car and locate the secondary latch, which is typically found at the center or side of the hood. Push or lift this latch to fully open the hood.
