A block style letter is a letter with all elements at the left margin. There are no indented lines in a block letter.

Body of the letter. The first paragraph states why you are writing.
The second paragraph gives the information that is the basis for the letter. This is where bullets may be used if there are several points to be made or relevant information to be listed:
The third paragraph is called the 'call to action' paragraph. Always tell the recipient what you want them to do in response to your letter. It includes pertinent or deadline dates for a response if applicable. It includes the writer's contact information (phone #, email address, etc.). It always includes thanking the recipient for their action, or just thanking the recipient for their time if your letter is to inform only.
Complimentary closing.
Your name typed.
Your title if applicable.
NOTE: The only indentation within the letter are those created by the bullets.
